Teachers and students strike in Spain over education cuts

Teachers and students across Spain staged a strike against cuts to the education sector and a government reform which they say is a throwback to the country’s right-wing dictatorship. The sector has lost an estimated €6.4 billion in spending since 2010, as the government has attempted to slash the public deficit. That austerity drive has seen 20,000 teachers laid off, facilities cut back and class sizes increase. In universities, qualifying for grants has become more difficult and matriculation rates have been hiked.

The crisis causes cuts in education and the workers of this sector are paying thooose bad conditions because other "workers" (the politician) take the worst decicions... The teachers and students are against this cut and they decided to stage a strike to protest... I'm in favour to do strikes because if we don't do something they are going to do whatever they want.
